Updated Statistics of Intellectual Property Cases in Japan

The Japan Intellectual Property High Court (“IP High Court”) updated the statistics of intellectual property cases in Japan.
According to the statistics, the average time intervals from the commencement to the disposition of intellectual property cases in 2021 are as follows:
All District Courts (1st instance): 15.2 months
IP High Court (2nd instance): 7.0 months
